The position involves operating machinery and performing various tasks within a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Must be able to Wire Prep (refer to 102099 Wire Prep job description).
- Must be able to Wire Press (refer to 101303 Wire Presser job description).
- Must be able to Funnel Slurry (refer to 102098 Funnel Slurry Operator job description).
- Must be able to Snip (refer to 102103 Snipper job description).
- Must be able to Sac (refer to 102101 Saccer job description).
- Must be able to run the Rubberizer (refer to 102102 Rubberizer Operator job description).
- Must be able to lift tote cases weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Must have accurate record keeping skills.
- Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Accurately able to measure weight, volume, and temperature.
Physical Demands and Work Requirements
- Frequently required to walk, sit, use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls).
- Occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee must provide hearing protection if exposed to noise above OSHA levels, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.
- The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses and appropriate shoes.
