Manufacturing Operator, 1st Shift

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Operator to join our Ashland, OH, team. You will perform a range of duties at the manufacturing facility. Training will be provided for multiple production areas, and you could learn a variety of manufacturing support skills. Duties are not fixed and may include working in any area of production.

Responsibilities

• Support the flow of raw material into product throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform tasks such as material picking, building sub-assemblies, and assisting on the paint line
• Use hand tools, scanning tools, and Power Industrial Trucks to complete manufacturing tasks
• Drive LEAN and job safety initiatives for your group

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in a variety of areas/departments
• Must be flexible to support any area of production/distribution
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior manufacturing/distribution experience
• Stand-up reach experience (PIT experience highly desired)
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift
• Steel-toed footwear is required

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $22.36/hour, with opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm. Overtime required as needed.
