Manufacturing Operator 1

B Shift schedule: 6:00am–6:00pm Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed (12-hour days, alternating 3- and 4-day work weeks).

About the role

Performs a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices, including operating wafer-fabrication tools, testing product, and delivering product to work areas. Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols. Work is performed in a cleanroom environment wearing a full-body cleanroom suit and additional personal protective equipment when handling hazardous materials. Typically 8–10 hours per day are spent standing and walking while continuously lifting and moving boxes of wafers weighing approximately 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures and process specifications to complete assignments.
• Work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment to achieve production goals.
• Apply company policies and procedures to perform complex tasks.
• Understand production needs and escalate issues as required.
• Recognize quality problems on equipment and product, then take appropriate action.
• Maintain certification in multiple production areas.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of related experience; a college degree may offset a portion of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Basic understanding of production procedures to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Uncompromising dedication to following safety procedures and protocol.

Pay

$20.50 – $22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
