Manufacturing Operations Supervisor — Architectural Openings
About the role
At Forte Opening Solutions, we turn materials into possibilities. As our Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a talented team producing premium doors and components, blending hands-on leadership with lean manufacturing to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals—every single shift. Kick off with Tier Board huddles—share KPIs, highlight wins, and assign countermeasures where needed. Walk the floor to coach on lean standards, confirm audit findings, and remove roadblocks to flow. Align resources to the Production Schedule—balancing machines, people, and materials for maximum throughput. Partner with quality to uphold documentation and standards; reinforce error-proofing and first-pass yield. Develop your team: set expectations, deliver feedback, train on tools and methods, and recognize achievements. Interview and onboard operations staff; address performance and resolve concerns per policy and law.
