About the role

At PwC, our people in operations consulting specialize in providing consulting services on optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness. In product development and manufacturing, you will focus on improving product development and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with clients to analyze product development lifecycles, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to enhance speed to market, reduce costs, and improve quality. Responsibilities include providing guidance on implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing supply chain integration, and leveraging digital technologies.

You will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. This includes coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. You will also identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm, lead with integrity and authenticity, and articulate PwC’s purpose and values. Embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encouraging others to do the same is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and identify linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.
  • Mentor others effectively and use work reviews as opportunities to deepen team members' expertise.
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm’s code of conduct, and independence requirements.

Requirements

  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and a proven record of success or a desire to deliver advisory services in the following areas:
    • Operations Improvement (inside 4 walls);
    • Lean Principles & Practices;
    • Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Programs;
    • OEE Optimization;
    • Operations & Production Management;
    • Management of Change Methods;
    • Manufacturing Reliability Strategy & Analysis;
    • Work Management Process Improvement;
    • Maintenance Focused Improvement;
    • FMEA/RCA.
  • Proven capabilities to collaborate and work with a diverse team, including:
    • Basic problem-solving and analysis skills;
    • Financial modeling skills;
    • Basic spreadsheet, presentation, and document development skills;
    • Ability to build, maintain, and utilize networks of client relationships;
    • Interpersonal skills and proactive communication;
    • Collaborative and can-do mindset eager to take on challenges.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
