Manufacturing Operations and Finance Manager
About the role
This role provides overall leadership for a U.S. business entity, including manufacturing operations, a central warehouse, finance, and supporting business functions. The Manager ensures operational excellence, financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across production, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, quality, environmental health and safety, finance, and administrative support. As a member of the Local Management Team, this person collaborates with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and other leaders to support sustainable business growth, and serves as the authorized signatory and legal representative of the U.S. entity as delegated by executive management.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes annual operational plans aligned with corporate strategy and North American business objectives, establishing departmental goals, budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics.
- Led manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and support functions to meet production and customer service targets, overseeing production schedules to ensure they are met safely, efficiently, and within quality standards.
- Drives Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, monitors key performance indicators, and implements corrective actions as needed, while directing warehouse operations to maintain inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and timely order fulfillment.
- Provides overall financial leadership for U.S. operations, managing accounting, accounts receivable, credit control, cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, oversees forecasting and long range financial planning, and ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Maintains manufacturing and support processes consistent with customer expectations and service level agreements, resolves operational issues, and supports Sales and Customer Service teams as needed.
- Promotes and maintains a safe workplace, ensures compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, supports quality management systems, and leads investigations and corrective actions related to safety or quality incidents.
- Serves as a member of the Local Management Team, supporting organizational strategy through operational and financial planning and leading change initiatives that improve efficiency and business performance.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience organizing effective business operations in a commercial environment
- Experience with personnel management and implementing organizational change
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for safety, health, and the environment
- Understanding of factors influencing customer satisfaction related to manufacturability, quality, returns, and risk management
- Experience leading both operations and finance functions within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Prior experience serving on a local or regional management team

$120,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experience.
