Manufacturing Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our new 360,000-square-foot Asian-style food manufacturing facility in Sioux Falls, SD. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will oversee all first shift manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production across all departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead all 1st shift manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production across all departments.
- Monitor processes and product quality, quickly identifying and correcting deviations to meet specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement by reducing scrap, waste, and non-conformance while optimizing labor, equipment use, and cost.
- Review operational, quality, and personnel reports to identify trends, opportunities, and required corrective actions.
- Prepare performance reports, ensure on-time facility start-up each shift, and develop, coach, and train team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of manufacturing leadership, ideally in food production.
- Strong ability to interpret safety and technical documents; effective problem solver and communicator.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.
- Proven ability to supervise, develop, and motivate teams while maintaining a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
- Ability to read and understand safety and technical documents.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Benefits
Base salary range: $93,000 to $154,000 annually, with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. Comprehensive health benefits, time off programs, and retirement and financial offerings are included in our Total Rewards package.
