About the Role
Manage and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing and production, including personnel oversight.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards.
Oversee procurement for all manufacturing supplies, tooling, and MRO.
Ensure all production meets established quality and on-time performance goals.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance for preventative and corrective actions and new process development.
Track and report shop labor efficiencies, manage asset utilization, and monitor production schedules.
Direct equipment maintenance programs and support safety meetings and guidelines.
Provide team leadership, training, and development, attending staff meetings and contributing departmental measurements.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree or higher (preferred)
5+ years’ experience in machined component manufacturing
At least 2 years’ supervisory or management experience in a medium to large machine shop
Motivated, ambitious, and collaborative—with a sharp attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and use Microsoft Outlook and Excel confidently
Expertise in FANUC and MAZATROL controls, MasterCAM programming (preferred), and G-code troubleshooting
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts
Excellent organizational, conceptual, and time management skills, with proven ability for multi-tasking and problem-solving
Physically able to use overhead cranes and perform required lifting
Qualifications
