Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for producing and packaging medical cannabis products in preparation for testing and distribution. This role ensures that the company’s regulated medical cannabis products are manufactured in a timely, high-quality, and compliant manner, making them available to qualified patients in Florida.

Key attributes for success include strong attention to detail, adaptability, consistency in high-volume production, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fill cannabis oils and formulations into various products.
• Package and label all cannabis and non-cannabis items, including weighing and packing flower products, packaging edibles, and concentrates.
• Operate, clean, and maintain filling machines and other production equipment.
• Complete production orders with consistency and quality while maintaining reasonable speed.
• Keep accurate records at all steps in the process to maintain quality and control of regulated products.
• Maintain awareness of and adherence to GMP regulations and company SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards for each product type.
• Maintain proper PPE and hygiene for work in a clean room environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI).
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, standing, 80% of the time or more.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work cleanly and efficiently.
• Must be responsible and self-managed.
• Excellent follow-up and tracking skills.
• Ability to work both individually and in teams.
• Flexibility to switch tasks as production goals change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a licensed cannabis production facility.
• General manufacturing or packaging experience.
• Degree preferred but not required.
