Manufacturing Manager (A Group ZZ MLB MFG)-Houston,TX
Purpose of the position
Set the key production target indicators for the Houston factory and oversee the achievement of these indicators, build up a highly - efficient cross - cultural team to ensure the efficient operation of the production process, improve product quality, optimize the cost structure, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in the factory. Support the company's development strategy planning and global business needs, and enhance customer satisfaction and team competitiveness
Duties and Responsibilities
- Production Management (40%):
- Execution and supervision of production plans to ensure alignment with production progress and demand, achieving 100% shipment completion rate
- Making sure production plans align with production progress and demand, ensuring 100% shipment completion
- Quality management (15%):
- Ensuring that production processes and products meet customer quality standards and industry regulations
- Handling production anomalies, driving quality improvement projects, and enhancing product quality
- Regularly organizing quality inspections to promptly discover and address quality issues
- Cost control (15%):
- Managing production budgets, optimizing production processes, Reduce material waste and energy consumption, and lowering production costs
- Analyzing cost structures and proposing cost-saving measures
- Team Management and Collaboration (15%):
- Setting up 4 subordinate teams, leading and managing the production team, identify roles and responsibilities oversee performance supervision and skill training
- Establishing a manufacturing successor talent pipeline to ensure the talent reserve ratio for key positions.
- Guiding cross-function communication and collaboration to optimize production process and efficiency
- Safety Production Management (15%):
- Ensuring that production processes comply with safety production regulations and preventing accidents
- Regularly organizing safety inspections and timely discover and eliminate safety hazards
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma + 5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing industry production management, or (associate) bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing industry production management (consumer electronics preferred)
- Preferred Conditions:
- --Hold a 30-hour general industrial certification from OSHA
- --Able to conduct work guidance in English, Spanish, and Mandarin
Working conditions
- Office positions and on-site work (on-site work requires wearing static electricity protection equipment, etc.)
- Flexibly allocate non-working hours based on production needs and event severity levels to ensure the normal production rhythm of the production line
Professional Skills
- Proficient in electronic manufacturing processes (such as a Surface Mount Technology, testing, packaging, etc.)
- Familiar with ERP/MES systems and production data analysis tools.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting
Leadership and Problem-Solving
- Excellent team motivation and conflict resolution skills, capable of handling high-pressure environments.
- Able to quickly Identification and resolve issues in the production process, ensuring production schedules are not affected.
