About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing and plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting using technical documentation, and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing and plant equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective mechanical, electrical, electronic, and other components.
  • Troubleshoot equipment using schematics, drawings, diagrams, manuals, specifications, and technical instructions.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electronic test equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and equipment service logs.
  • Gather, maintain, and analyze technical data using established procedures and calculations.
  • Support improvements and modifications to existing optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
  • Estimate labor, equipment, and material requirements and prepare requisitions as needed.
  • Identify equipment issues and communicate technical concerns to appropriate internal teams.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level maintenance employees when required.
  • Follow all applicable safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance technician experience.
  • Experience working with manufacturing or plant equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform technical calculations, interpret test data, and document findings.
  • Vocational or technical education/certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work 3rd shift after completing 2–3 weeks of 1st-shift training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, optical, or vacuum systems.
  • Experience with equipment installation, repair, and process improvement.
  • Strong documentation and maintenance recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

Schedule

  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Training: 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM) for approximately 2–3 weeks
