Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist
About the role
Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves executing scheduled maintenance work, tracking and assembling necessary parts, and ensuring equipment is brought back into production efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed
- Track and assemble all parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time
- Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production
- Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience
- Ability to work 12-hour compressed work schedule
- Flexible to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in production maintenance
- Ability to read and understand mechanical prints/schematics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
