About the Role
We’re seeking a Machine Operator to work at a premier manufacturing client in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time position with opportunities to build your manufacturing skills in a supportive, safety-focused work environment.
Pay
$17/hr.
Schedule
12-hour shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM), approximately 3 to 4 days a week. You'll work 7 days in a 2-week period.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment under direct supervision.
- Coordinate with your team to set up machines according to set-up sheets.
- Ensure board loaders and feeders are stocked with correct parts and prepare for the next part run by pre-loading feeders.
- Maintain and load solder screen printers, operate LSM machines to check solder paste, and enter data into the CIQ system.
- Keep your work area orderly, manage tube fallout parts, and clean as needed.
- Monitor machine rejects to ensure parts are sorted and re-run daily.
- Maintain necessary documentation and perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Follow all safety and health rules and company security procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to obtain and maintain all job-related certifications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Comfortable working on the 3rd shift and as part of a team.
