Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manufacturing and Manufacturing Transformation Director to develop and implement strategic plans for manufacturing sites.
  • Oversee the execution of key initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support the manufacturing strategy deployment process and provide support for facility 5-year strategic business planning (SBP).
  • Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing teams, including business process ownership for the NA Manufacturing Management System (accountability processes, strategy deployment, leader standard work).
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent the Senior Manufacturing Director in meetings and communications as needed.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for the Senior Manufacturing Director.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Own the Manufacturing Cost Transformation Program, including development and implementation of strategies to achieve cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain a 3-year pipeline of cost savings initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate workshops to generate programming ideas to close current-year gaps and fill the future pipeline.
  • Lead development of analytical tools and performance reporting to increase data visibility for improved decision-making.

Requirements

  • BA or BS required; MBA or MS preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, ideally with exposure to multiple functions and/or areas of supply chain.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving results and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence mill managers and senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 15% for benchmarking and best practice sharing across North America.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with varying scheduled hours.

Pay

Salary range: $157,720 – $194,760 USD. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, performance, and experience. The stated range applies to US locations only.

Primary locations include various mills across the U.S., such as Beech Island, Chester, Corinth, Jenks, Loudon, Marinette, Maumelle, Mobile, Neenah, New Milford, Ogden, Owensboro, and Paris.
