Manufacturing Lead, POC (Mechanical Engraving)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Lead – Line, you play a key leadership role within the department, bridging communication between supervisors, upper management, and production staff. You act as a lead and delegator on the production floor, ensuring product quality, meeting customer specifications, and consistently achieving efficiency and productivity targets. In addition to providing hands-on direction, you coordinate tasks, demonstrate job instructions to new hires, and occasionally step in for Assistant Supervisors and Supervisors as needed.

Schedule

1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Peak season schedule may vary based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at a high level
• Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff in alignment with departmental expectations
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up production lines accordingly
• Collaborate and communicate within the department and across multiple departments
• Foster a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations
• Reassign and regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team strengths
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving production line issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and fully operational work environment
