Responsibilities
- Perform testing and inspection of materials throughout the manufacturing and refining process to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications
- Conduct chemical analysis and physical characterization of samples
- Compile, evaluate, maintain, and report laboratory and quality data
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, A2LA requirements, RoHS, and laboratory safety guidelines
- Coordinate Pot Rite Services and Spectrochemical Standards Manufacturing activities
- Quote customers on analytical services and spectrochemical standards
- Process customer orders, maintain records, and manage order status tracking
- Review analytical results against historical data and applicable specifications before reporting
- Construct, package, and ship Pot Rite kits to customers
- Assist with the manufacturing and certification of custom standards
- Support method development and continuous improvement activities within the laboratory
- Maintain inspection records and coordinate disposition of nonconforming materials
- Manage sample storage, retention, and disposal activities
- Provide responsive, professional customer support while maintaining strong customer relationships
Requirements
- BS degree in a scientific discipline, and 2-3 years related experience and/or training in a laboratory environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering quality service
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information appropriately
- Motivated by problem-solving, continuous improvement, and producing high-quality results
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience performing laboratory testing and data analysis
- Ability to interpret specifications, testing requirements, and quality standards

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $70,000 annually.
