This onsite role supports multiple automotive manufacturing facilities, focusing on implementing and managing cyber security controls within industrial environments.

About the role

Join a growing team of Engineering and Health & Safety professionals to help customers reduce work-related risks to quality, productivity, and employee health. This position will improve enterprise operating capability by managing and implementing cyber security-specific controls in automotive manufacturing environments. The role requires strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and provide insight into key cyber security areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT cyber security initiatives, including implementation and management of manufacturing cyber security standards at assigned facilities.
  • Collaborate with all plant levels and groups to ensure industrial cyber security standards and practices are understood and followed.
  • Coordinate with counterparts at other facilities and corporate management to report status, share best practices, and overcome challenges.
  • Provide occasional off-shift support to implement initiatives during non-production times.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification(s) in Information Technology or Cybersecurity-related field.
  • Strong interest in developing ICS-specific cyber security skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing plant floor experience with exposure to industrial IT systems and controls.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site at client locations and travel as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort interacting across all levels of the plant hierarchy.
  • Well-rounded plant floor background with exposure to IT systems and plant floor controls.
