About the role
This position will assist the Operations Support team in the receiving and testing of raw materials for prequalification testing, troubleshooting, and reworking assays under the direction of the Laboratory Director and California licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists and/or Product Development. The role involves collaboration with the Operations Support team, Laboratory Director, and licensed personnel in the Laboratory Operations Department and/or the Product Development team.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects assigned by Operations Support Management or designee.
- Assist in receiving and testing raw materials for prequalification testing.
- Troubleshoot and rework assays under supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in research and development and/or a clinical laboratory.
Skills
- Experience with PCR, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and modification preferred.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (onsite in Irvine, CA).
Pay
Hiring salary range: $28.50 to $31.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
