This position works out of our Tipp City, OH location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Responsibilities

  • Operates the filler and cappers in a safe manner to maintain personnel safety and food safety and quality.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all production and quality reports.
  • Interprets and responds to various alarm conditions on all filling and sterilizing equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Operates the sterilizer system within required parameters, completes related documentation and monitors the specifications, making adjustments as needed.
  • Completes sterilizer rounds, sediment and chlorine checks as required by work order.
  • Maintains product isolation procedures, monitoring pH levels and taking water samples.
  • Reports any abnormal equipment functions and product problems to the Supervisor.
  • Maintains general housekeeping cleaning, sanitation and safe work area by utilizing all 5S cleaning and tools necessary to keep the area clean and clear of debris, safe, neat and organized.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operating filling equipment
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to learn and retain information provided through training

Pay

The base pay for this position is $19.05 – $38.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

This is a night shift position (6 :30pm - 7 :00am EST) with a 12-hour rotational shift schedule on the 2A Crew. Schedule Example (after orientation is complete): WEEK 1 : WORK : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday : 6 :30p - 7 :00a. DAYS OFF : Wednesday AND Thursday. WEEK 2 : WORK : Wednesday & Thursday : 6 :30p - 7 :00a. DAYS OFF : Monday, Tuesday AND Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
