Manufacturing Field Service Technician 1
About the role
HOLT Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Field Service Technician 1 to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for providing field service support to customers located throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair machinery issues in manufacturing environments
- Provide preventative maintenance recommendations to prevent equipment downtime
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and resolve issues promptly
- Travel to customer sites as needed to perform service work
- Document all service activities and communicate with internal teams as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
