Manufacturing Facility Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you will maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order, enforcing site regulations, and frequently providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. No prior security experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers
• Complete patrols as required (may involve climbing stairs, walking inclines, and traversing uneven terrain)

Requirements

• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Driver certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to complete patrols
• Strong technology skills (cell phone and computer)
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
• Physical ability: frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; frequent lifting/moving up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs

Qualifications

• Prior security or customer service experience (a plus)
• Background in retail, food service, or hospitality (a plus)
