Since 1969, our factory has been a cornerstone just eight miles west of Harrisburg. Situated at a transportation crossroads, it offers quick access to major cities like Baltimore, Boston, and New York. As one of the largest manufacturers in the area, we produce a wide range of dry pet food, including beloved brands like Puppy Chow®, Pro Plan®, and Friskies®. Beyond our work, we support local animal shelters, enriching the lives of pets everywhere. Responsibilities

  • Analyze downtime data, validate production loss categories, and identify trends or recurring issues to prioritize improvement efforts.
  • Investigate production floor issues, troubleshoot equipment and process failures, and determine root causes.
  • Implement corrective actions that improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall process performance.
  • Use working knowledge of production machinery to support operators in real time and help stabilize production.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, production teams, and IWG leads to guide continuous improvement initiatives and project workstreams.
  • Train, coach, and assess teams across functions in our factory on their Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma activities.
  • Dive into our data to help us identify opportunities to improve our performance and processes.
  • Lead among our teams while performing traditional industrial performance and engineering responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of continuous improvement, process improvement, or coaching and developing in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
  • OR High school diploma with 5+ years of continuous improvement, process improvement, or coaching and developing in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.

Pay

The approximate pay range for this position is $74,960 to $100,550. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
