Manufacturing Excellence Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Excellence Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Lead initiatives to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality departments to identify and implement process improvements.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Facilitate training sessions for employees on new manufacturing techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and reducing waste.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools such as Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).

Pay

• $75,000 - $85,000 annually.

Schedule
