Manufacturing Equipment Operator

About the role

The Manufacturing Equipment Operator will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility, including rewinding, tape lining, packaging, tape/braider, maglining, plastic extruder, and Amor. May include operating of multiple machines at one time. The role also involves repairing, patching, or splicing cable. Quality assurance activities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and operate various pieces of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform tasks such as rewinding, tape lining, packaging, tape/braider, maglining, plastic extruder, and Amor.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Repair, patch, or splice cable as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance activities according to manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret routine instructions.
• Basic mathematical calculations ability.
• Good mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to operate material moving equipment, overhead crane, and obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications
