Manufacturing Engineering Technician, Cell Tabless

What You'll Do

• Execute hardware upgrades on our Tabless machines, aiming to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by improving availability, yield, and rate
• Partner with Production Engineers to ensure safe and efficient operation of production lines, maintaining high-quality output
• Troubleshoot using PLC, HMI, or tool management software and implement improvements and provide hands-on support to operations and maintenance teams
• Troubleshoot extended downtime, and manage critical spare parts to minimize disruptions
• Assemble and test manufactured goods, conduct analytical tests, and record and interpret data using established tools and software
• Develop operating procedures, training materials, and maintenance routines
• Absorb and assist in the development, commissioning, and scaling of custom high-speed automated manufacturing equipment
• Handle setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards during development and commissioning

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, including root cause analysis and problem resolution in a high-volume, dynamic environment
• Proficient in metalworking and fabrication (band saws, grinders, mills, lathes), and knowledgeable in hand and power tools, as well as pneumatic equipment
• Knowledgeable in low voltage systems, basic electrical tools (digital multi-meter, meg-ohm tester, thermocouple meters), and wiring is essential
• Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed assembly and disassembly tasks
• Skilled in using technological tools and business systems for data management, analysis, and interpretation
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching while performing repairs
