Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering team in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes
• Aid in the development and maintenance of manufacturing process documentation
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations
• Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement
• Participate in cross-functional projects and provide support as needed
• Perform engineering change processes to support existing products
• Test prototypes and standard products and write reports documenting the results
• Categorize a wide range of existing parts
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management

Education And Experience

• Currently in year 3 or 4, or a post-graduate, of a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related Engineering field
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work minimum three days a week continuously
• Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
• Effectiveness in working within a team environment
• Organization and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
• Commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and offer improvement ideas

Pay

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour (depending on college year)
