Manufacturing Engineer with PFMEA - (San Antonio)

Our client, a leader in manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer with PFMEA to join their dynamic team in San Antonio, TX. As a Manufacturing Engineer with PFMEA, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting process development and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes to support existing and new product manufacturing.
• Conduct detailed process design work, including layouts, tooling, fixturing, gauging, programming, and documentation.
• Utilize Six-Sigma methodologies to continuously enhance production processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for current production issues.
• Lead capital equipment projects and participate in cost reduction, safety, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with relevant experience supporting assembly operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD software applications.
• Experience in tooling and fixture design, with a solid understanding of GD&T principles.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, MSA, capability studies, and process documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
