Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to improve throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen product quality.
- Partner with production and quality teams to identify and resolve daily technical issues.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including control plans, standard work, and work instructions.
- Lead initiatives related to process optimization, workflow improvements, and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and promote a culture of safe work practices.
- Track and report key performance metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance equipment performance and optimize materials used in production.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systems.
- Skilled in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- Leverage Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; Syteline preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
