Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to improve throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen product quality.
  • Partner with production and quality teams to identify and resolve daily technical issues.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation, including control plans, standard work, and work instructions.
  • Lead initiatives related to process optimization, workflow improvements, and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and promote a culture of safe work practices.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance equipment performance and optimize materials used in production.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systems.
  • Skilled in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Leverage Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; Syteline preferred.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.

  • Expertise in manufacturing process engineering and continuous improvement.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing both engineers and technicians.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD and process modeling tools.
  • Working knowledge of lean methodologies and quality systems.
