About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer Senior will provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators, develop and implement manufacturing processes, and utilize lean manufacturing techniques to enhance assembly efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on various assembly processes and equipment and support to manufacturing operators
- Develop, implement, and document manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies
- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and improve production yields through automation, tooling improvements, process redesign, etc.
- Define operations procedures, production standards, and build sequences to drive operational excellence
- Develop statistical process control approaches and integrate reporting and data analytics solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field or Master's Degree
- This position requires the ability to support up to 10% of overtime annually as required to support program needs
Qualifications
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems
- Experience with automation/robotics in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Military specifications and standards
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC.620 and J-STD-001
Skills

Schedule
