What You’ll Be Doing
- Improve powder and wet paint processes by driving efficiency to best utilize company resources
- Manage pH levels on powder paint pre-treatment system
- Work with Environmental Health and Safety on WRRF, DNR, & EPA reports to maintain compliance
- Track and report process KPI’s to ensure strict process control
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new capital equipment to support operational and business objectives
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to increase the productivity of operations to deliver Toyota’s customer the best value
- Support organizational initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our operations while supporting the community within which we live
- Investigate and eliminate downtime within the assigned area
- Employ process controls and standardization to deliver best in class results for our customers, both internal and external
- Understand how Toyota Production System can improve material flow and inventory levels, reducing lead-times and improving safety
- Strive to become the technical expert for the assigned support area and proactively identify and improve issues before problems occur
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization to advance your goals
- Understanding of Toyota Lean Principles and how to implement them
- Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability and willingness to work hands-on
