About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and efficiency. This role will also involve troubleshooting production issues, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients using microbial fermentation, synthetic small molecules, and other technologies.
- Optimize production processes to improve yield and reduce waste.
- Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related field.
- Experience with microbial fermentation, synthetic small molecule production, and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
