Manufacturing Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

About the Role

At Royal Electric Company, we provide expert electrical design, construction, and service, collaborating with builders, contractors, and facility owners to achieve exceptional results. We are currently accepting applications for Interns for our Dallas Office location, starting Summer 2027, to work with our Manufacturing team. This opportunity offers invaluable experience and professional growth through hands-on work, close collaboration with a team, and real-world projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services and support to solve challenging problems.
• Produce high-quality engineering drawings.
• Participate in process improvement planning in a team-based environment.
• Help build and maintain a Royal Electric Library of resources and systems.
• Create 3D models to support product completion and documentation.
• Assist in the production of high-quality products to support field operations.
• Interface with internal teams and suppliers to ensure production requirements are met and documented.
• Comply with safety regulations in the shop.
• Assist in the quality audit process, including planning, executing, reporting, and follow-up.
• Ensure products meet standards for defect-free, timely, and cost-efficient production.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong follow-up skills internally and externally.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3D modeling experience.

Pay

Salary Range: $22-$27
