Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program. Job Purpose The Racine Manufacturing Operations team supports a wide range of engineering processes and production lines to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in plant operations. By driving process improvements and problem-solving initiatives, the team plays a key role in delivering high-quality agricultural equipment to customers. As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with production teams, supporting process optimization projects, and applying engineering principles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities may include: Supporting engineering processes and production line operations at the Racine facilityApplying root cause analysis to identify and implement robust, sustainable solutions to production challengesContributing to process improvement projects that enhance quality, productivity, and efficiencyAssisting with data analysis and reporting to support decision-making in manufacturing operationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and operational goals Preferred Qualifications Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate Excel skills and basic data analysis experience requiredFarming background or experience in agriculture, construction, or landscaping preferred, but not requiredSome positions may require the ability to travel to other sites Pay Transparency The hourly salary for this role is $23.69 - $27.81/hr plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
