Manufacturing Engineer II - Molding
Why Do We Need You?
The Role
The Manufacturing Engineer II will rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with limited supervision and will use cross-functional leadership, technical knowledge and communication skills to launch new products and improve profitability on existing products in manufacturing areas. Identify and implement manufacturing projects which improve facility efficiency, reduce scrap, and/or improve product quality in order to contain and/or decrease costs. These include capital and WCM inspired projects.
Manage teams of employees in focused areas of productivity improvement. Interact with the leadership of the affected departments to ensure the effective implementation of systematic changes. Perform various facility improvement projects assisting building maintenance and 5-S efforts. Work with production supervision and operators to resolve immediate manufacturing problems on the shop floor.
Originate and update manufacturing and engineering documentation including procedures, specifications, drawings and train personnel for the implementation of these procedures. Interact with manufacturing management, R&D, and marketing management to identify and develop new processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing (required)
- Master's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing (preferred)
- 5+ years experience working in an Engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated project leadership/management and team collaboration
- Progressive experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting with experience working in operations, process engineering and manufacturing with demonstrated sense of urgency to successfully complete project goal(s)
- 2+ years experience (Hot Compression) Mold designing and/or Experience with molding plastics, preferably fluoropolymers (preferred)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 annually, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based with a maximum of up to 20% on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
