This is a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and making a direct impact on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the daily production of high-quality ground rods
  • Partner with manufacturing and maintenance teams on key initiatives and act as a change agent to drive improvements
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve production equipment, machinery, and facility processes
  • Support maintenance with troubleshooting and repairing equipment, helping minimize downtime
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the plant
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing challenges and production issues
  • Support day-to-day operations, including maintenance coordination, equipment troubleshooting, routing, and quality planning
  • Lead Lean initiatives across manufacturing cells
  • Drive creative problem-solving for issues like ergonomics, safety, process bottlenecks, and product quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience using engineering and business tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Excel (preferred)
