Manufacturing Engineer II
About the role
Join Marvin at our headquarters in Warroad, Minnesota as a Manufacturing Engineer. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, from identifying areas of improvement on the production floor to researching future projects. You'll collaborate with Production Associates, Engineering Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, leadership, and other key stakeholders. Relocation assistance is available, including household goods movement, temporary housing, and a relocation counselor.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Understand daily challenges on the production floor.
- Support specific Product Groups in meeting their goals.
- Identify and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) and LEAN concepts.
- Use Engineering principles and CI tools to establish current state and develop future state plans.
- Maintain a future state roadmap for capital project proposals.
- Support projects and equipment acquisition.
- Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt time impact for support initiatives.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical.
- 3-5 years of Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience.
- Proven ability to communicate well and ask insightful questions.
- Ability to use or learn AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Ability to participate on, and lead, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, and technology.
- Willingness to mentor others in the use of Engineering principles.
- Project Management experience.

Pay
$82,000–$110,000 per year.
