Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Aid in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures
- Identify and resolve production issues, defects, and assembly challenges
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Use Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights
- Track and report key metrics such as throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality
- Support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Absorb and support corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or a related engineering field, with 2–4 years of manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to a variety of audiences
- Proven ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Windows-based systems and enterprise software tools
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic technical instructions, correspondence, and visual aids
- Solid mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and basic data interpretation (e.g., graphs)
- Ability to follow instructions, use sound judgment, and manage routine tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
