Manufacturing Engineer Electro-Mechanical Assemblies (Onsite Ocala, FL) We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Electro-Mechanical Assemblies for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies by driving root cause analysis and corrective actions, managing PR/MRB processes, and improving production quality, efficiency, and work instructions. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) job, an On-site role based out in Ocala, FL. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Responsibilities Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Requirements Must be an US CitizenBachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.Must have at least 3 years of experience driving robust Corrective Actions Root Cause and Corrective ActionMust have at least 5 years of experience with electo-mechanical assembliesMust have at least 3 years of experience with PR/MRB process (PR/QMRB certification preferred) Desired Skills Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.Experience with PR/MRB process (PR/QMRB certification preferred)Understands lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environmentExperience with SAP, Apriso, and WindchillExcellent process development and documentation skills.
