Client Details
This Midwest-based contract manufacturer specializes in precision CNC turning, milling, and broaching to produce custom metal components. Their manufacturing capabilities span from initial prototyping to high-volume production for various industries. Key products include suspension and powertrain components, fuel and fluid manifold blocks, engine heads, and exhaust hardware.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC machining processes to enhance production efficiency (Gibbscam/Mastercam)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges
- Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Support continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing activities
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new tools, equipment, and technologies
Qualifications
- Experience developing and optimizing CNC machining processes (Gibbscam/Mastercam)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Ability to support continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
- Experience analyzing production data and implementing corrective actions
- Ability to provide technical support and training to production staff
- Experience evaluating and implementing new tools, equipment, and technologies
Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
