About the role
As Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Improve and implement production processes through observation, simulation, analysis and prototyping.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve in-house manufacturing problems.
- Work within established standard design and engineering practices under close guidance.
- Design straightforward machined/fabricated parts or new features.
- Develop understanding of machine functions & perform basic part selection.
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement automated systems in our production environment, including advanced robotics.
- Work hands-on with systems to ensure they are built, commissioned, and function as required.
- Use communication skills to convey technical information to engineering, operations, and management personnel.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- A four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Good math and communication skills
- Ability to create and interpret technical documents
- 1 year of CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Simulation experience is preferred (FEA, CFD, Motion)
- 3D printing experience is a plus
- Experience with industrial robots is a plus
