Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and develop production fixtures, jigs, and tooling using SolidWorks
- Develop and maintain standardized assembly methods, work instructions, and process documentation
- Partner with Product Engineering and Quality to improve manufacturability and support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Evaluate and improve existing tooling and fixtures to reduce setup time and improve repeatability
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles, time studies, and data-driven analysis to improve production flow and reduce waste
- Support new product introductions and ensure smooth transition from engineering to production
- Track production performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support production goals and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in; Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD
- Experience designing fixtures, tooling, or manufacturing equipment
- Experience with sheet metal, tubing, welding, mechanical assemblies, or similar fabrication processes
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
