Essential Duties
- Evaluate the manufacturing process to identify areas of improvement.
- Lead projects with overall responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of new products of broad scope into the plant.
- Provide timely product and process support for any manufacturing area to diagnose problems and implement solutions to minimize interruptions to production.
- Improve manufacturing efficiencies while maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Maintain technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedural document requirements.
- Evaluate whether to make or purchase parts and products.
- Implement ideas and solutions into the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Expertise and/or working knowledge of manufacturing.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices.
- Project Management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines.
- Productivity improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of simulation, process modeling, and value stream mapping.
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent education.
- Must be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to motivate and lead others.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems such as: Microsoft Office, ERP system.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Engineering Design Process.
Pay
