Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess existing production workflows to identify inefficiencies and determine their root causes.
  • Refine equipment layouts, workstations, and production lines to maximize efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Investigate and evaluate new technologies or methodologies that could improve manufacturing processes and integrate them into existing systems.
  • Plan, design, and refine manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
  • Evaluate current equipment and implement necessary upgrades or modifications to enhance performance and increase production capacity.
  • Plan and manage the installation and integration of new or updated machinery and equipment to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and operations to facilitate the efficient integration of new processes and equipment while minimizing downtime.
  • Complete detailed reports, record test findings, and present issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes meet safety standards and regulatory requirements, while also focusing on optimizing process effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Proficient in computer aided design including 3D modeling software.
  • Experience with automation and robotics.
  • Results oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Requires some international and domestic travel.
  • Communicate and field questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for 20% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or 20 feet or more; ability to identify and distinguish colors; ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while the eyes are fixed on a given point; and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.

Qualifications

  • Education: Four (4) years of college with a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technology field, applicable majors include Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
