About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is accountable for the quality of their own work. The ME is subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking and executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
Responsibilities
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
- Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the safety, delivery, delivery, cost (SQDC) priorities.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
- Understand key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal and time management skills.
- Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
- Support New Product Introduction.
- Support CNC processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing or operations experience).
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (330PM - 2AM).

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $68,500.00 and $102,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Schedule
Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (330PM - 2AM)
