Manufacturing Electrician Team (3rd Shift)

About the role

Your responsibilities will be: Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules. Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards. Receive, understand and complete written work orders in a timely fashion. Follow verbal supervisor instructions to complete jobs safely. Maintain production equipment with preventative maintenance tasks. Operate fork lifts and high-work equipment (boom lift, scissors lift) safely. Align with all safety and work instructions. Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises. Work in an environment where getting the job done depends on your high standards and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Marshalltown City electrical license (minimum)
  • A state Journeyman’s license preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on company insurance
  • Strength in arms and legs
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions
  • Ability to operate/maintain forklifts and high-work equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 - 3 years proven experience working with industrial wiring, CNC machine troubleshooting and repair
