Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment and machinery
• Installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software
• Programmable knowledge in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
• Assist with needs assessment for computer and software requirements in all areas of the facility
• Assist with PLC and PC training as required
• Designs, codes, tests and debugs simple programs
• Maintains and documents programs
• Assists higher level programmer/analyst/engineer with design work
• Follows established methods and procedures
• Responds to disruptions of production systems in a timely and appropriate manner
• Helps provide solutions in making technical logic meet the needs of the users
