We embed innovation, intelligence, and AI-native operations into the way the world designs, engineers, manufactures, and distributes products. We serve Life Sciences clients across the value chain to help bring lifesaving medicines and products to patients through harnessing the power of advanced technologies.

About the Role

Accenture is seeking a Consultant to drive project execution in Digital CMC and PLM transformation work within our Supply Chain & Engineering practice for Life Sciences. We work with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology, distributor, and consumer health clients globally to redefine the future of the life sciences industry by combining the latest technology with scientific breakthroughs to revolutionize how medical treatments are discovered, developed, and delivered to patients around the world.

This role drives the enablement of digital thread and data backbone concepts at our clients to build foundational building blocks for AI and agentic operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery of business and technology transformations by utilizing deep industry expertise in PLM, CMC, tech transfer, data as a product, knowledge graphs, data lineage, and AI-enabled business and technology transformation work.
• Understand business value levers for PLM and CMC reinvention across pharmaceuticals, biotech, MedTech, and beyond, including upstream R&D and downstream commercialization.
• Build and apply technical, industry, organization, and functional knowledge to support efforts in selling opportunities to existing and new clients.
• Engage deeply in project delivery with hands-on work executing against program priorities, leading work products, and coaching and mentoring others.
• Bring effective communications to manage both internal and external relationships and deliver with excellence.
• Support practice and people development across PLM, digital CMC, product development, product launch, and data management in addition to day-to-day project delivery excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as part of a team focused on consulting or industry in the life sciences supply chain and manufacturing space in digital CMC and PLM.
• Demonstrated exposure to material flow and manufacturing engineering in automotive/industrial manufacturing plants.
• Experience with workstreams such as designing material delivery routes, performing 2D/3D simulations, IT/OT integration considerations, PFEP, and business case considerations when deploying automated mobile robots (AMRs).
• Understanding of key vendors, risks, and technologies in this space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 4 years' work experience). Industrial or engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience with shop floor change management, performance improvement, business case, and value management (bonus).
• Understanding of related ERP modules (bonus).
• Understanding of Plant Control Systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, etc.) (bonus).
• Experience with simulation in factory environments (bonus).

Travel

Travel is required for this role and could vary from 0-75%.

Pay

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The following salary ranges are provided as required by local law:

• California: $70,350 to $205,800
• Cleveland: $59,100 to $164,600
• Colorado: $63,800 to $177,800
• District of Columbia: $68,000 to $189,300
• Illinois: $59,100 to $177,800
• Maine: $54,400 to $151,400
• Maryland: $63,800 to $177,800
• Massachusetts: $63,800 to $189,300
• Minnesota: $63,800 to $177,800
• New York: $66,300 to $205,800
• New Jersey: $68,000 to $205,800
• Virginia: $59,100 to $189,300
• Washington: $80,200 to $189,300
