About the role
This role supports sourcing strategy across existing and new suppliers, products, and engineering changes.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing strategy across existing and new suppliers, products, and engineering changes
- Manage SAP item master data, purchase orders, and supplier setup
- Execute RFQs, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and BOM savings projects
- Maintain supplier on-time delivery and capacity
- Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering changes
- Closely coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers
- Aid with import/export and customs-related procurement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement or sourcing
- Experience purchasing engineered or technical components
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience with negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
