Manufacturing Buyer

About the role

The Manufacturing Buyer is responsible for sourcing materials and suppliers to support production needs. This role works closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply.
• Manage supplier performance through regular audits and evaluations.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute procurement processes.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems.

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.
