Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician
About the role
This is a fully site-based role located in Vacaville, California. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production systems in a cGMP environment, ensuring inspection readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory and process systems, maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety and environmental protocols are followed.
- Participate in the production of mammalian cell culture products across various areas, including upstream (seed train, media preparation, fermentation, harvest).
- Dispense components, handle hazardous materials, and clean/sterilize equipment and fixed tank systems.
- Support Right-First-Time operations with detailed documentation and timely issue resolution.
- Use automation for production tasks, meet production demands, and collaborate effectively with the team.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An AS/BS/BA in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering (preferred).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to flawless documentation practices.
- Ability to determine and successfully implement solutions to process issues.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Qualifications
